That was an enjoyable way to spend a couple hours of the early afternoon. MFU has some really well behaved children, speaks volumes to their parents :)

Sorry I missed the fun, but the camp-out went great. We spent a couple of hours and about 1000 rds at the range in Micheaux on Saturday and then went to ABC for lunch. My friend thought he'd died and gone to heaven. He lives in MD and enjoyed the freedom we have in PA. He carried hid XD the whole time he was here, unloading while in the car so he wasn't considered CC.
Friday morning I took my daughter to Dutterer's, carrying of course. I sat with my strong side to the window, but I know several people saw my Kahr while I was walking. Nothing said as usual.
Evan, I'm sorry you weren't able to make it as well. I'm happy your trip went well. 1000 rounds sounds fun! Did you give the boy some great advice on life? jhbenson is also very happy (I believe I'm correct in saying this) with his new freedom. I also had to order Chinese last night because of our conversation this week:D. (BTW... still jealous of the Kahr)
So, what's everybody's memorial day look like next Sunday? Wanna hit my house for some burgers and dogs on the grill? I'll start a thread (sans address) tonight. PM me if you're interested.
Please tell your friend to get Virginia, Utah, or Florida permit. The issue about having a firearm in the car is NOT that it is CC. The issue is that it is illegal to transport without a LTCF (or permit from any other state) except under the very limited exceptions listed in the UFA, ie, directly to/from range, etc.
I'm not sure, but it MIGHT have been OK if it was transported in your car and he had no possible access to it, like if it was locked in the trunk and only you have access.
I fear he may have unintentionally been in violation.
This part irritates me. True, yes. But very irritating. We should not have to go through such great pains to be able to defend ourselves. (sigh) moving on before I rant...
Sorry we missed you Curmudgeon:(. Hope all went well with the family. I look forward to seeing you again soon!
BBQ thread as promised...

I know I'm a tad late to the thread.
However, I was looking at the pictures and whichever one of you is in the yellow shirt, you could pass for a Bill Gates copy
