Doesn't really matter if I cant get a permit in the first place.
Lol right!....fuck Murphy.
I guess the idea of lowering the fees for other licenses and permits never crossed his mind?
Half price for LEO and LE retired.
That's fair.
No I believe he is talking about purchase permits which are the FOID card for long guns and for pistols there is a individual purchase permit you need for each one you buy which are currently like $2.00 each or something like that.
There would be zero point in raising the carry permit price since they give about 3 out a year to regular citizens that are not retired LE and those 3 are to the rich neighbors o judges and famous people who reside in their republic like the anti gun John BonJovi.
I often wonder if civil war II will kick off in NJ, NY, or Cali?
Looks like I was correct.
The FOID to purchase long guns is currently like $25.00 or something like that and most of that goes to the local PD for the back ground check or something. The article is vague regarding individual pistol permits which are $2.00 plus the local Pd back ground check fee's. If each of one those is going to go up to $300.00 then it would be like having an NFA tax plus $100.00, plus LE processing fee's every time you wanted to buy a NJ legal handgun.Quote:
A source close to the Murphy administration has confirmed with NJ2AS that he will be advocating to raise the cost of a firearm identification card to $300 and also raise the cost of a retired law enforcement conceal carry permit to $150. We expect this announcement to occur during his budget address Tuesday afternoon.
Governor Murphy has expressed support to raise the fees in the past. ”It's hard to believe it's actually cheaper to get a permit to purchase a handgun, which is $2, than it is to get a dog license in practically any town in our state," Murphy said at a June 13, 2018, bill signing.
I wonder how long it will take for a NJ Judge to say this is legal and on what basis?
NJ requires a permit to purchase a pistol which is $2.
The big big thing here IMO is now they are mandating a required renewal of FID cards versus the current once and done status.
This just makes me wonder what their next screwing of the gun owners is going to be.
