Re: KCI vs Glock Magazine Comparison
Also a note with KCI mags. the springs and followers are slightly different so aftermarket springs may not work. i could not get +5 base plates on because the springs that came with the base plates were meant to fit glock followers.
i wanted to buy some cheap mags and +5 base plates that i wouldn't mind dropping on the ground while practicing. i ended up using glock mags and cheap base plates, the kci mags just wouldn't work reliably.
when used as is, i have had no problems with KCI mags so far but i would still not carry with them. for $7 they make great practice mags.
Re: KCI vs Glock Magazine Comparison
I have two KCI Glock 19 magazines and replaced the springs with better ones from Wolf and added OEM followers from Glock. Since then they have been 100% reliable in a 26 and 19. After added the cost of the replacement parts it's not worth it vs buying a stock Glock mag for $20.00. I was given them because they were unreliable and figured what the Hell.
I have one of their 33 round mags that will only take 28 rounds before the spring binds up. It works in my hand guns but will not seat and lock into any 9mm carbines that take Glock magazines.

I think the Pmag glock mags are actually way uglier
