need help/review of EAA Witness 45 acp
I just picked up new to me 45 acp. Its a full size Witness steel frame handgun. Blued finish, hard rubber grip panels. Basic three dot sites. I came with nice hard case and 2 14 round mags.
I am looking for a "fun" gun in 45 acp. Not really looking for racegun,target,carry,etc,etc... But I want to hit what I am aiming at with in reason(lol). I want it to function with out giving me a head ache.
I googled this gun but really only found the "plastic" model.
Thanks Koz

Try searching "Witness Classic", I've got one in 9mm. Great range toy, too heavy to carry & I'm not keen on cocked & locked without a grip safety.

There is no problem with cocked and locked ,pistol can also be shot decocked in DA mode. Right now your best deal would be a Sar K2 45 acp 14 round mags from BudsGunshop.com were $398 yesterday its a EAA clone . I have one great shooter one of my favorites , heavy pistol that soaks up the recoil.

Wow I am impressed with this handgun. Fit and finish is pretty nice. This has only few rounds through the gun. I love the 'feel". Its one few guns that fills my meat cleaver hands...lol
I will be heading to the range soon.
Thanks Koz

Witness pistols are very nice my son shoots his match 9mm in IDPA . Very accurate never has it malfunctioned . The match 9mm and Match 45 models sell at Buds for a little under $600 --$569.00 I believe. If you want DA/ SA get the standard steel or steel poly frame versions $400 range they all shoot great.

My Witness Classic does not have a decocker, the older BTA 90 models did. I don't think Tanfoglio currently makes a decock model Witness. To decock mine you would have to lower the hammer revolver style, not the safest thing to do imo.
