Bulkammo has 7.62 x 51 Malaysian army surplus on sale.

I looked at some Malaysian there and it looked like it had gotten dug up out of the sand. No bull, it looked pretty bad so I passed on it.

Thanks, I'll look at some again when I see it.

Saw one table with a bunch of boxes of '80s Port for $10ea. Great stuff.

What's '80s Port?

1980s Portugese NATO M80 surplus. Very accurate. Probably just as good as that Hirtenberger that was around the same time(mid-late 90's). I still have a couple cases of each. Used to be $129-149 case/1000 at the old Fort Washington show. Ya could get a good deal on multi-cases at closing time because the dealers didn't want to lug it back.
There's a good list of top surplus 7..62 ammo over at the M-14 forum.

That's a great list, I had some Venezuelan stuff but I don't remember much about it and I have a box of German stuff left that I was wondering what it was, it's on that list as well.
ETA: I didn't see the guy with it at the show there, I'm sure I miss a lot of stuff while I'm browsing through.

When I bought my LR-308 , the owners manual specifically said NOT to shoot Venezuelan/Cavim ammo. My M-1A liked it.

My H&K hasn't balked at anything yet but it did seem to like that German stuff better than the Federal that's flooding the market right now.
