⚠️Helicopter on the Lehigh and Delaware rivers will be spraying for black flies

😷 A helicopter flying today along the Lehigh and Delaware rivers in the Lehigh Valley will be spraying for black flies, Northampton County officials said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will be aerial spraying for black flies, also known as biting gnats, on the rivers using a white Bell OH58 helicopter with blue and red stripes.

Spraying is set to start at 9 a.m. at Washington Crossing State Park, and the Delaware River will be treated from Trenton to Portland in Bucks and Northampton counties.
