Adapting a 30mm scope mount for a 1" scope?
I was given the mount by a buddy who no longer needs it. Only problem is that I don't have any 30mm scopes. I was looking to mount it on a .22 plinker I have. Short of buying the 30mm to 1" Spacers is there another trick to use from a hardware store?
Keep in mind this is a .22 used at 50 yards.
Thanks!

Hardware stores sell a nice thickness of 3M double-sided tape... handy for all sorts of things... or cut some strips of rubber.

Just buy some cheapo 1" rings at Walmart.

I was using some cheap rings and they kept walking off the rail. This mount is a clamp on style that rubs the entire length of the rail. I hve some spare bicycle tire tube I used for the grip on a pistol I may use.
Thanks guys!
