I was 3rd in at 07:15.
Shot the $#!% with the former Marine behind the table for an hour (talked about guns, go figger).
When I left at 08:15 there were 5 in the book.
Upper Darby is not known for being a bastion of the Republican Party, but all 5 were "R"s... :)

Anyone willing to run for an unpaid elected position has my vote. A thankless job at times. And at local levels, especially when a borough's population is under 1,000, do political parties and campaign platform/promises mean anything?
OCed while voting today with my wife (not that I have to, but I do it out of principle). Comments? Stares? Hah! Nothing. Three-thirty in the afternoon and we were voters nos. 37 & 38.
Oh, no constable on duty to keep the peace.

Thanks for the link Berncly I went in the morning after work. I saw a shotgun shell hull on the ground in front of the dumpster in the parking lot of the township building.
Re: Pennsylvania PRIMARY ELECTION Candidate Information PLEASE VOTE on May 16 2017
Just finished voting Number 65. At least there was a choice for Councilman this time around.
Re: Pennsylvania PRIMARY ELECTION Candidate Information PLEASE VOTE on May 16 2017
I went in around 5, was number 111. Wrote my self in for many of the empty slots.
Back in 2013 I did that and ended up in a 6 way tie for inspector of elections. I suspect I lost the "casting of lots" that decided it since I never heard anything else about it.

Well, if it's anything like here, it's probably because they're essentially uncontested, they don't feel the need to put any effort into it. Several spots on my ballot had "Vote for not more than X" and I think in each case, there were X or less choices.....

Number 47 at 3:45. Two casting votes when I walked in and two walking in as I left. No waiting.
