Oh okay, the sticky thread.I actually have read a few pages of that...I'm guessing his thoughts on oc'ing with a thigh holster are tucked somewhere in there.

Another one the other day. This guy had on a thigh holster with an SCCY in it. WTF?
The other thing is none of these people that I saw and engaged knew much about pafoa.org!!!!!
Now I hate to sound like "that guy", but most of the folks I saw didn't seem like they could afford the sport..... Some were down right sketchy....
Where do they get their OC info from??
Am I understanding your post correctly? You were shopping at a store called "Price Chopper",and you question the financial ability of other shoppers to defend themselves?
I don't think I've ever heard of the Constitutional rights of individuals to defend themselves being referred to as a "sport"...
Or am I just maybe missing something in the big picture here? Please please elaborate on this......
Re: what's with so much OC at the supermarkey?
The price chopper must be one of those bulk stores.
I see the OP purchased the big can of worms. ;)
Re: what's with so much OC at the supermarkey?
I'm still trying to figure out what a "supermarkey" is.

I see everyone is working out their Sunday morning hangovers.......
I wasn't trying to bash anyone. My point was that these folks seem less fortunate than most of us on this site. I applaud them for being involved in the "sport". Sorry that some of you don't like the word, but if you go to Barnes & Nobel, the gun books are under sports. Even the ones about self defense are there. Anyway, I see many OCers there and I am simply surprised that they haven't heard of us here. I do suggest they come over. My point was that I wondered where they get there info from if they are not here.
Sketchy.... yes, some are sketchy for sure. Their demeanor/appearance didn't help. Anyone OCer that takes an aggressive posture when approached nicely is not helping the cause. No matter what your station in life, it helps to clean up a bit if your going out OCing. It WILL reduce the number of man with a gun calls I assure you. Heck, I won't OC if I didn't shave for a few days because I look disheveled. Maybe that's my issue..
The grocery store is the great equalizer. I have seen everything from homeless to Mayors to Senators in Price Chopper. Actually it's a New York chain with all the amenities like a bakery, deli and fresh custom cut meats. So who is questioning who here?

Price chopper and shop right are close to same store. Once was by the way. Some of the owner split away from shoprite and started price chopper.

Now I don't have to read the Sunday funnies.
Re: what's with so much OC at the supermarkey?
Judging people by appearance is called profiling. Just because someone grows out a beard doesn't mean they are going to shoot up the place.
Hell, the last time I've heard of an open carrier shooting up some place is never.
I don't really read the newspaper though so it may happen more often than I know.
