Also recently get my LTCF. Pretty easy process and was in my mailbox in about a week. The same is true for my Wife's LTCF.
Anyway just thought I would post to see how many people from NWPA are on here.
Harborcreek here. It two weeks to get my license. The deputy said 6 months earlier, they were giving them out while you waited.

The gamelands requires a permit or hunting license, and the warden is EXTREMELY adament about it!
I went with someone with a permit. I may get a hunting license this year so that would be an added bonus I guess. I have heard the Warden is pretty strict, even about the "3 rounds in a magazine" rule. A guy I know did run a 30 rd mag through his AR, so I could see why the Warden was upset.

I am glad it didn't take the full 45 days. that would be a long wait HAHA

Keystone Gun Club. Indoors, 45 ft. In the city. Very low key. $60 a year plus $3 for any day you shoot. They also have some competitions during the winter months.
Gem City Outdoorsmen, Outdoors. It's in Mckean, close to Fairview. For me, senior, only $15 a year. They have archery, trap, pistol, rifle. 25 to 100 yard range.
I seldom shoot at the game lands. Too many yahoos, and also too many restrictions. like three round magazine limit.
Re: Northwest PA has been quiet on here.
I've been to Keystone, it's real nice and the folks there are too.
I may have to join just to have a place to shoot in winter!
They had a PAFOA deal for a while 1/2 price for forum members to shoot on open days.

The club has since changed its policy. There are no longer "open" shooting days. You must be a guest of a member. As below:
1. Associate Members: KGC will no longer accept Associate Members (known as the General Public) during Good Fellowship nights (formerly known as Open Range). Associate Members will either need to apply for membership or come in as a guest of a current member. Please note, this only applies to the general public who came in during Good Fellowship nights to shoot. This DOES NOT apply to non-members who comes in with a current member.
Re: Northwest PA has been quiet on here.
I need to look into it. I work nights so either afternoons or weekends are my only available times to shoot.
Re: Northwest PA has been quiet on here.
Anyone here a member of Walnut Creek Rifle Club??
