I am a weaver stanch shooter,I did a 150/150 on my qualification for Act 235 not limited to expert revolver & pistol for over 40 years,some things just work better for individuals,so whatever works for you I am fine with and applaud you.I would be interested to know what do the Ladys prefer ?

I used to until I moved into competitive shooting and realized that different techniques were needed to be competitive. I don't know what it's called but it works much better for recoil control and follow up shots etc

The whole push pull thing makes no sense to me. Why would you want to pull back ever? The gun is recoiling back, you don't want to help it. I think this died more like 15 years ago. If you shoot weaver I think you are missing out.
It puts the bones in tention and stiffens the muscles, spreading the recoil to the body mass. Faster follow up shots.

Close your left eye. Find a gun that fits. Use the bead. Keep your right eye open (don't flinch) and call your shot. For us cross dominants the standard how to shoot a shotgun is worthless. Both eyes open, point don't aim. Hogwash for us. If you can not tell why you missed or hit, it becomes a lottery.
