I'm so confused
I think that they recently lowered the fees. I sent in my renewal last month and the fees totaled $117 on the form I received and that's what I sent. I received the permit and then a week later I received an application for refund form for an overpayment of $5.
Checking the web site, it looks like the the total is now $112.

FEES: The total fee for the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License is $112.00. This total actually consists of two separate fees:
License Fee: $70.00
Fingerprint Processing Fee: $42.00
Make sure that you follow the instructions exactly.
Good luck.

Re: florida non res license?
You can call the Florida department of agricultural and consumer services and request a packet but you do need to take a safety course
Re: florida non res license?
One more suggestion, when you get it notarized, make sure the notary has an ink stamp not an embossing seal. They use a scanned image and w/o ink it doesn't show up to the processor.
They sent mine back years ago and I had to lightly mark over the embossing seal with a marker. It worked, but it seemed strange and put a couple weeks delay in processing.
Re: florida non res license?
I just sent mine in from personal defense solutions, they specialize in Florida, Virginia and Utah out of residents ltcf, I paid 150 for the class the fingerprints and the paper work for a florida and Virginia (does not include the state fee), they embossed it into the paper and I'm sure they know what they're doing since there was over 50 people there and they've been doing it for years, all in all took few hours but you have to mail everything in yourself but they explain the whole process

FL requires prints to be done by a Law enforcement agency. Is PDS one? How does that work?

When I took their class a couple of years ago, they had a police officer there to take the prints. They also notarize the application after you fill it out. I walked out with everything I needed to send to Florida (including the mailing envelope) except the money order.
