My daughter and I will be visiting Harrisburg in a couple weeks. She will be attending a competition. We will be staying near walnut and second st downtown. I'm not going to want to drive much while there. I suggestions where to get food and possibly something to fill in the day of a very active 12 year old. The closer to my location the better. Thanks for any and all responses.

every corner has a bistro or deli on it.....i'm not kidding, every corner.
the state museum will be just a few blocks north of you, just north of the capitol complex.
the civil war museum is on the east side of town, to far to walk, but a short drive.
city island has the river boat to take for a ride. and on a nice day, harrisburg is pretty place to walk around in.
