I'm not all that familiar to what all is out there for this mossberg 500
I would like to add some sort of optic sight but would also like to have back up sights.And maybe add some other stuff to it

well i take it that its a HD gun, i have the same gun and was thinking about some kind of sight then realized i just like the bead because its simple and fast, for me. I know some people like ghost rings but its just not for me. Simplicity is the key IMO. But they make red dots and ghost rings, this red dot was recommended a while ago http://www.opticsplanet.net/nikon-dot-sight.html
