ATF Rules Medical Marijuana Card = Prohibited Person
I've always wondered if people getting their MM cards would be targeted. Here is the answer. This ruling seems to deny purchasing AND current possession of firearms, and ammo to all MM card holders.
The ATF letter to all FFL's.

The ATF can blow it out their ass.
Re: ATF Rules Medical Marijuana Card = Prohibited Person
We should not be surprised that one of the most corrupt federal agencies would deny states rights?
...I mean they are under the direction of another corrupt department (the Department of Injustice), headed by none other than the corrupt s.o.b. Eric (gun-walker) Holder, and part of one of the most corrupt administrations ever to visit that bastion of corruption, aka Washington D.C. (district of criminals).
We may not get the government we deserve but we certainly get the government we will tolerate.

Yep here's the memo. total BS. What ever happened to states rights?

Re: ATF Rules Medical Marijuana Card = Prohibited Person
This ruling raises a lot of questions, but more importantly, it creates a serious legal dilemma for a lot of people.
I wonder if the HIPAA law prevents disclosure of possession of a Medical Marijuana card? That may provide a little cover to hide behind, but then again, this IS the ATF.
Depending on how aggressive the enforcement of this is, anyone with a NFA tax stamp, and a MM card, could be facing some big problems.
And yes, it also sets up another battle over states rights.
Re: ATF Rules Medical Marijuana Card = Prohibited Person
if the ATF cares about drugs and guns mixing, maybe they shouldn't sell guns to drug cartels
Re: ATF Rules Medical Marijuana Card = Prohibited Person
This is ridiculous.
Regardless of where you stand on the issue of medical marijuana, if the state you reside in says its OK by them for it to be a prescription remedy, how can the feds step in to punish the user?
