Re: CC at Gun shows in PA??
I went to the Morgantown gun show a few weeks ago and they made me remove my gun, unload it, zip tie it, and the reholster it. They cut the tie when I left.
Re: CC at Gun shows in PA??
Gun shows in PA don’t necessarily prohibit CC, but many prohibit LOADED firearms of any sort for liability reasons. Promoters aren't anti-gun, they are anti-lawsuit if someone gets shot.

There is no law regarding it, but many venues or show organizers have their own internal rules about it.
You have to look into each show individually.
Re: CC at Gun shows in PA??
Same rules at the Oaks show.
Except it's done by police dept.
Re: CC at Gun shows in PA??
If there's no metal detectors, you can carry. If I can't carry, I don't go.
Re: CC at Gun shows in PA??
In the "greater" Pittsburgh area, there are three gun shows. Two prohibit you from carrying, one doesn't. It makes it easy for me to decide which show I support with my $.
For me, its no different than a restaurant, store, etc... prohibiting me from carrying... no $ for them. When I hear the "its for safety" argument from gun owners - I can't help but think "hey, that's the same argument that LEE-BORE-ALS across the country are spouting for more gun control."
Heading to a show next weekend :D
Re: CC at Gun shows in PA??
Deep conceal. If they ask, just say your not carrying

I know someone who went to Oaks and simply didn't tell the gendarmes he was carrying on the way in. Covered the entire floor before buying and leaving with a new AR. No kittens died, no ladies were struck down with the vapors, life went on.
Not suggesting, simply reporting.
