My observation was broad and neutral. If the shoe fits....

Sounds like OP's got a pretty big chip on his shoulder.
He asked what range you came from? How horrible. And then, when met with odd silence, had the nerve to ask where you're from? My goodness. Its almost as if acting standoffish during a traffic stop is going to pique a cop's interest. Who would have thought.
And then, after all that, he didn't cite you and let your bro know his LTCF was expired? What a terrible guy. Clearly just wanted you to lick his jack boots.

As I've told others here, if you're comfortable telling an officer where you were, where you're going, where you live, all for a burned out brake light, then be my guest. I have no chip on my shoulder and have already said I highly respect law enforcement. But respecting doesn't mean letting them ask or do what they want. That's my take on the matter, clearly you disagree. That's cool. Have a good day.

1. You weren't murdered
2. You weren't beaten.
3. Hell you weren't even disarmed and your firearms disassembled before giving them back to you.
If you want to be Billy badass and refuse dialogue that's your right but to come here and whine like a snow flake is pretty weak. Maybe you can start a " #me too" movement to bring awareness to the country that police may actually investigate during the course of their duties.

Yea, that doesn't mean a cop can't literally ask you a question about your firearms.

Not sure what more can be said that has not already been said without this going off the rails.
