Update to the Classified Rules

All,

We've made a minor change to the Classified rules, specifically the rule regarding to bumping. Previously, the rule was worded as:

Do not reply to/bump your ads more than once every 72 hours (3 days)

The spirit of this rule is to prevent bumping threads more often than once every 3 days, which can result in those threads always staying at the top of the thread list in the forum. However, by the letter of this rule, it would have been allowed to create a thread with an initial post, and then post again in the thread before 72 hrs (3 days), because the initial post isn't technically considered a bump or reply.

We have changed the wording of the rule to the following:

You must wait at least 72 hours (3 days) from the time of the previous post in the thread before posting again.

---

This is mostly an issue of semantics, but we believe this change in wording is more in keeping with our original intent. Note that a summary of the Classified Rules is at the top of every Classified page, and to read the detailed rules, click here:

Pretty sure they have said they WOULDN'T be doing tapatalk. IIRC, part of the problem dealt with the rep system. But I could be off in left field so don't take my word for it.
