Cheap AR lowers...or cheap transfers on multiples?
Since lowers are dirt cheap....is there any dealer nearby that has them in stock for reasonable price ($50 to $75) depending on the maker, or alternately...a dealer that will do transfers on 3 to 5 lowers for one fee (or a small additional fee for the extras)?
Gets expensive at $40 for the 'cheap' lower (for something that's going to sit until I get around to a new build), shipping, then $25 per lower transfer...
Thanks!

I know the feeling, would like to find the same.

Call around and see if local dealers are stocking Anderson lowers. A lot of the places out my way have them for around $60. You can find them online for $40, but by the time you pay shipping and transfer, you might as well have bought them local.

.
Don't know how far away they are from you but Tanner's sale this week has:
Anderson Stripped AR Lower $45 (150)
.

Talk to your local FFL's about transfers from purchasing via a web retailer. I know mine will do multiples on one form (perfectly legal, and every FFL can and should do this). $25 spread across 5 becomes quite reasonable.

Eastern Arms in Albrightsville regularly has $49 Anderson's.
Bought one for $59 iirc @ Heritage Guild one day also.
Sarco sells a few under $75 I think also.

I'm putting in a good word for a FFL named Steven Hafer, near Reading, he charges $15.90 for a long or side arm transfer. I did a pistol trade with another PAFOA member and Steven worked with our schedules to get it done quickly for us. You can find him listed on the GunBroker.com's FFL list, just input a Reading Zip Code (19605 is best) and look down the page for him.
