Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Funny you posted that - I have several bottles ( and it's where my forum name comes from ). I use to work a mile from the plant and use to pick it up for about $2 a fifth - lol ! It's actually pretty decent Rum especially the premium Estate Diamond stuff. I'm not a big Rum guy though - prefer Bourbons and Whiskeys. I've got some Mount Gay too - is it immature that I giggle whenever I serve it :)

Bought some black Cerakote to finish this.
Started out as a standard MP5 parts kit, LSC flat and weldments, 922R parts.
Im generally not one for pics of progress, so here is what you get.
For my first one, im pretty damn happy. Now i know what not to do on the SD which is next on the bench.
Got excited and forgot fit the semi auto shelf before gluing it on. Fixed it after picture day.
This is a semi auto SBR host with a post sample trigger pack.

Been meaning to post but because of my shift and schedule I've been busy as hell. Picked up a new range transport vehicle. Nothing wrong with the old one, but at 115k miles and 7.5 years, she served me well. Now with age starting to show (I saw a bubble starting to form on the bottom of the driver's door indicating rust), it was time to part ways while she was still worth anything given the ridiculous prices of today's vehicles. Anyway, I went certified pre-owned this time, as the price difference between lightly used and new was huge. It's been over a week since I bought it, and I have yet to see another with this exterior color. The hemi paired with the 3.92 gears is amazing, I actually can't wait to tow with this thing.

Nice rig. I have a 2015 a lot like yours. I too have the 3.92 gears. You won't have any problem towing with that thing. Those gears are amazing. It will get you out of the hole quickly, no matter what you're towing. I towed a skid steer on a much too large of a trailer once and forgot it was back there.
Congrats!

Realized I had this Colt "Bright Stainless" frame in a parts box and decided I need a CCO. It'll be a patience project--I don't have enough free time to work on it every day--but parts are starting to arrive.
I love new projects. :)

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
SBA3 tactical 5 position adjustable brace showed up and it's pretty damn nice compared to the other braces I have owned. I guess the real proof will be once I get it properly secured and put some rounds through it this weekend.
