That sir is an understatement. The Mayor and Council knowingly, intentionally and broadly engage in an illegal exercise of government power, after having been informed in detail of their illegal actions, and then insult her in this fashion? This is exactly what impeachment is for and I am glad she is raising it. They chastise her about not engaging in a constructive dialogue when they are having no dialogue whatsoever and are just forging ahead in breaking the law. That guy at the hearing, ", hello Council of tyrants" nailed it. This is precisely the sort of push back we have to engage in and support.
I will send her a note of encouragement. I donated for the FOAC lawsuit and if she starts a fund for defraying the costs of this I would gladly contribute to it.

The petition signatures need to be Pittsburgh city residents.

I would sign it if I could.

PITTSBURGH — A Mount Washington woman's attempt to have Mayor Bill Peduto impeached over his proposal for new gun restrictions in Pittsburgh is being ridiculed by a mayoral spokesman as "a total joke and waste of time."
Brooke Nadonley, the city's District 2 Republican Committee chair, said she has gathered 30 signatures for an impeachment petition.
The city's Home Rule Charter requires 20 signatures.
You mean the same home rule charter that they're claiming supports their position to ban firearms?
Re: Impeach Pittsburgh Mayor Peduto Thread
I was standing next to her in the line. She had a clip board that said "Impeach Peduto Here" . I couldn't sign it since I am not a resident of the city. My kid signed it. I was suprised by the small number of signatures required.
Peduto's next move will be to pass legislation to raise the number of signature's.
The noose is tightening on bike lane bill.

It's about damned time someone did something to prohibit flash suppressors.
That alone should save more lives than anything else.
Fucking morons.
