Hey all. I feel like this is a dumb questio, but I am currently considering applying for my LTCF and was unsure of something. While I do live in Allegheny County, I go to school in Westmoreland and, as a result of this, am in Westmoreland far more than I am in Allegheny. Can I apply for said permit in Westmoreland County or am I required to do so in my county of residence (Allegheny)? Thanks in advance for any and all info.
Do you live in housing during school time or commute?

18 Pa.C.S. § 6109: Licenses
(a) Purpose of license.--A license to carry a firearm shall be for the purpose of carrying a firearm concealed on or about one's person or in a vehicle throughout this Commonwealth.
(b) Place of application.--An individual who is 21 years of age or older may apply to a sheriff for a license to carry a firearm concealed on or about his person or in a vehicle within this Commonwealth.
