Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Title is pretty self explanatory.
Ground rules are simple
1. First state what brand and caliber you want.
2. Second state the amount you are looking for, things work best if you want more.
3. Then list if you have any vendors you would rather be sodomized before using again.
4. Say how much you'd be willing to put in, act as the delivery agent, and/or as banker.
I will then using ammo seek, ammo engine, and gun deals find the best place and price to acquire the items. I'll submit that to all those interested and they will then agree to pay within 72 hours, via any method that is not personal check...nothing personal. Also if one bulk dealer has a great deal on one thing, I'm open to doing multiple orders, say AIM Surplus, then Cheaper Than Dirt, etc.
One thing of note is if you don't mind Russian Steel ammo, when can get some crazy amounts of ammo. If people are interested, post here.

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Hmm.. this sounds like something I might be interested in. As for Russian Steel jacketed rounds, are those legal to use at ranges here in SEPA? As for brand, im not really partial to brand, ill use anything except blazer. Price is negotiable, but I could toss in a few hundred if the deal was right.

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I have an intrest. I also have a friend who is an FFL that would give us his price on ammo plus like a $20 tip for his time.
I am intrested in brass cased 45 and 9mm.
I am guessing to make it work we would need to buy several thousands rounds

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
You guys will have to take over all the details. With a daughter on the way I've done the big bulk ammo for awhile. Best I'd be able to chuck in would be 50-100 (and more likely the lower end). I'd be happy to help out with the logistics end and such.
In terms of interest all I want or need is 45acp and 9mm.

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
congrats on the daughter. Do you have a shotgun yet? I highly advise all fathers of daughters to have a shotgun ( I dont have a daughter, but my father had two and told me this) There is just something about a father with a shotgun compared to any other weapon.

Thanks!
Traded my Nagant Carbine for a Pardner Pump Action Protector recently. :)

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Honestly depends on the price. Me and my brother were both looking into buying 7.62x39. The Yugo corrosive stuff is already cheap from Aimsurplus.
But I dont think they give a discount unless you buy a pallet of ammo.

The goal is really to just knock out the cost of shipping. Once you do that it's cheaper than retail anywhere.
Plus with Sgammo you can get a ton of personal defense rounds that even a great place like Classic Pistol lacks.

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I would like to go in on a big purchase. .40 and 7.62x39
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I asked Bryan over @ aimsurplus and his response wasn't specific, but it seems like he will discount any large order, doesn't matter how many of each item.

yes, thats what i specialize in, just put together what you guys want and send it over to me, shipping gets better over 1,000lbs

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I'll have to bow out as myself and another member did a smaller buy at SGAMMO.com which was placed Sunday night and is already SHIPPED! So high marks for them so far.
If people want a dork to check for prices at various sites and give them numbers break down for a small fee payable in ammo, I'd be happy to do that as I've started to get to know the intricacies of the gun-deals, ammo engine, and other search sites, along with the bulk dealers.
It's kind of fun too. :)

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I have a source for the russian steel 9mm, but I am working on an account with a distributor that will have all the good stuff. I will post more info if i get it.
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Ok here is the deal. I just recieved a dealer account with one of the distributors that many shops around here buy from ( they dont make as much as you think). I can get many kinds of the ammo we have been looking for.
Their terms are $500 order of ammo. I dont know yet what freigh would be but I think $600 will ship free. There might be a hazmat fee but I dont know yet.
I wont ship ammo because its a pain so you would need to be willing to meet me somewhere within reason of zip 19720 or targetmaster. I wont distribute ammo on their property as I am sure they would frown upon this.
As of now I would need to be paid with a postal money order as I have no use for that much ammo if someone punks out on me. I would say you should want at least 10 boxes of ammo to get in on this because obviously i would like to make a couple bucks for my trouble. I am not getting crazy exotic. I will post a couple prices for ammo as I get a chance to play around on the website.
I can order anything from this distributor that does not require an ffl.

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
brass 5.56 at least 1 to 2 thousands rounds.
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
once you have prices then i can commit to the buy.
i'm looking for target rounds.
9mm 1k brass
556/223 1k plus wolf, tula or brass no Herters
45acp under 1k
380acp under 1k
what else can up get beside ammo?
if i ordered 600.00 of ammo it ships free to my place (have forklift) or shipping is to your place and i go pick it up?

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I need to verify if there are any laws I need to follow selling ammo except to insure purchaser is over 21 for handgun I think. Anyone knows let me know.

can yo get prices for bulk 12 ga?
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Seems like a good price
Fiocchi 12 Gauge 2 3/4" Popper Load/1000 Count $143 give or take a few bucks.
Wolf 12 Ga. 2 3/4" 1 oz, Lead Slug $180
I dont shoot shot gun so I am not sure what each person likes. I just had 12 guage priced
Also if you have a supplier you use on ammo and price range it would help to send me that so neither party gets their time wasted. If you get 9mm for $10 for 50 rounds I would save us both time letting you know I cant get standard target loads that cheap unless you want a specific brand I might be able to get.

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Order is being placed by Wednesday. I will be pm-ing people to arrange pick ups or delivery for orders.
Thanks for your business those of who you got in on this. Next one will probably be in a month or the next time I get $550 worth of ammo intrest here.

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Anyone interested in another bulk buy?

-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I might be interested. Need to know prices.
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I'd be interested in 9mm.
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I could use some 5.56 xm193 and some .45. Maybe 1k rounds each depending on price
Edited to add 9mm and .38 cheap target stuff too, not much preference as for brand etc

Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I am going to do a bulk .223 buy. I'm mostly do this with people off the forum but I'll see anyone else wants in. I'm getting this from a dealer in VA the weekend of 15 Sept. It could be picked up or I would meet you with in 10mi of Allentown or Effort PA. So sorry no Scranton or Philly.
(Unless you get ALOT!)
The other issue you might have is I am doing this as a business for the 1st time so I have to add PA tax. Proceeds are going to my "get a FFL Fund" 55gr FMJ PMC- $333.90 for case of 1000.
55gr FMJ Wolf- $132.50 for a 1/2 case of 500.
I need orders confimed with payment by 1200 1Sept. So I can lock the dealer in.
I'm just doing .223 this time, I may do other ammo again later.
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Tomorrow is the deadline.
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
well if supply ever gets ahead of demand again before its to late I'd be interested in .223 or 5.56 1k,2k worth but i'm not holding my breath
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
yea if this ever starts up again id be interested in .223 and 7.62x39
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
Yeah I would not hold my breath either. I think most people who find bulk would be buying it up themselves.
If by some slim chance someone does find 9mm, .38spl or .22lr at a good price in bulk I would be interested.
-
Re: Does anyone in SEPA want to do a bulk ammo buy?
I too as well an willing to go in on some 9mm ammo. Just PM if anyone finds some.
-
