I got to watch the livestream. Looks like a good rally this year. Was kind of disappointed that they didn't ask Paul Mango to come up and speak... he is running for the Governor nomination after all.

The missus and I had a great time breaking bread with around 25 forum members at breakfast and then motoring over to the State Capitol building. Checked our firearms at the post situated at the base of the building and things went seamlessly and receipted. Easy picking them up too after the activity concluded.
I must say I was impressed at how many PAFOA folks (and other 2A supporters) attended.
I think one message that was clearly sent and received by those in attendance is that "We will NOT support gratuitous gun control provisions."
EVER!!!!
It was quite refreshing to have once speaker near the end quote Article 1 Section 21 of the Constitution of Pennsylvania:
"The right of the citizens
to bear arms in defense
of themselves and the state
shall not be questioned."
And then watching the police chiefs vigorously nodding their heads...
Was nice meeting some of you at the breakfast. And thank you for letting this first timer tag a long. I will be there for next years rally.
We just got home a little while ago after a side trip to Bass Pro and a stop at Wendy's for lunch. Great seeing everyone again, Sorry if I didn't quite recognize everyone, I'm terrible putting names with faces sometimes.
The kids had a great time, little girl was of course happy to be sitting between Jhaydeno and Bamboomaster at breakfast. The line to get in was impressive, better than I've ever seen it.
I have to get on the road earlier next year.
My wife and I attended for the first time. Sounds like we were some of the last to get in. It was great to see the turn-out, and also the number of sheriffs and police on the staircase. Afterwards we ran into Paul Mango in a coffee shop a few blocks away. Just the fact that he bothered to show up gives him a few points in my ledger. Next year we'll make a point of getting down there a little earlier, would not want to miss out like some apparently did.
