I highly recommend the NRA basic pistol course. You can search for it at their site. You’ll see a wide range of prices though, seems to be cheaper at the Chester County shooting clubs than in Philadelphia.

The previous post about checking the NRA website and taking the NRA basic pistol course is a good suggestion.
Targetmaster is about 20 minutes from West Chester and offers training.
Target Shooting Solutions (TSS) is about 30 minutes away and offers training.
There are also other indoor and outdoor ranges within 30 minutes of West Chester.
You can go to Google maps and do a search for "gun ranges near me".
Most indoor gun ranges do not require a membership and can provide training.
Call the ranges and ask about their training options.
If you have trouble finding what you need then post a follow up and people here can help you out.
Some of us also individually train new gun owners at gun clubs we belong to.
That training is generally more involved and often requires a commitment of several sessions.
If you are looking for something along those lines just post it and someone can follow up.
Thank you for doing it right and getting yourself trained.
Best of luck to you.

How is the creed? I have the ppq love it, now I want the ppq sub compact
I actually haven’t gotten it yet. It just got delivered to the FFL yesterday but with the storm today I won’t be able to get there to pick it up until tomorrow. But I will let you know how I like it. The PPQ will probably be my next purchase. Eventually anyway haha.
