My friend sort of did. OC is also part of his everyday attire. BUT he got chilly and wore a vest which covered him up.
There were a few people who felt the need to carry their rifles. And they were zip tied to show they were empty.
Being in Pike County; there was perhaps 1/2 of the crowd from NY/NJ who weren't carrying anything.
And a large percentage of the people were there to buy the book "Our Father Foresaken" and get it autographed by HJ Sean Moon.
The line for that was at least a couple hours long.

Oh, foresaken.. yeah misread that.

My husband and I just finally got home from the weekend. We drove 5 1/2 hours to go. It was fun but there were some things that can be improved on for next year.
Re: Open Carry Freedom Festival in Pike County October 12-13
It was the first year of the event and I feel it will improve as it goes on. We had several folks visit our booth as well as the Pike County 2nd Amendment Sanctuary booth. Had a great time overall.

What booth was yours? I talked the guy at the Pike 2a booth. He said that I couldn't sign the petition because, my primary residence was not in Pike Co..
Other than that I wound up with several shirts, two M1 carbine mags, and a Tsuba from an old Japanese sword.

Oh I stopped and talked to them and then walked off. I did see your stuff and probably you talking to another guy. I would have said hello if I knew.

No worries
Re: Open Carry Freedom Festival in Pike County October 12-13
I attended the event on Sunday, took my wife and kids. They had a great time and my daughter even shot a second round of recurve bow at the archery booth. I would not have known about the event had I not seen the add in the local 'Our Town' free journal we picked up from a supermarket near our vacation property this past summer. We're hoping they hold the event annually and will plan to attend if possible.
Can anyone elaborate on what was happening at the facility's range? We could hear full-auto strings being fired in the distance, and lots of people being shuttled from the main event area to the range but did not have a chance to check it out ourselves.

I tried to go Sunday afternoon but they had to stop ferrying people up because it was overcrowded. Plus I learned that there were a lot of first timers, language barrier issues that made controlling the range more challenging. I heard that one woman stepped out over the firing line to take a picture of someone shooting -- that sort of stuff. No one got hurt that I knew about. I figured that it was not worth waiting to find myself in that mix.
