I am looking for a new 9mm pistol. I have narrowed it down to the glock 19, glock 17, m&p9, m&p 2.0 full size or compact, and xdm. I want something I could carry concealed but will mainly be a range/home defense gun. Open to pros and cons of each.

Let's break down your list: Glock 17, M&P full size (either gen), XDM full size are all full size guns, Glock 19, M&P compact and XDM compact are compact guns. Which maker you choose will come down to which ever 'fits' you best. Each is a decent piece and it is a Ford vs Chevy kind of pick.
Try each one and see which feels the best in your hand and points most naturally. If you can find a range that rents each, try shooting each and see how you like them and how well you can shoot them. Pick the one that comes out on top.
If you want to carry concealed either size will work, but the compact models will be easier to hide as a rule. You need to decide how deep you want to carry: inside the belt (IWB) outside the belt (OWB) or another way. None of these are good candidates for pocket carry. Good luck and have fun making the decision.
GLOCK 19 ! Everything you want it to do and more !
I boycott Springfield so that's all I have to add. ;) Unless you are looking at a pre-owned XDM in which case it doesn't matter
CZ-75D PCR. About the same size, and weight as a Glock 19. Think outside the gun store box.
H&K P30SK.
I like the new CZ p10c. Trying to justify buying one myself.
Agree screw Springfield and their cheap Croatian imports.
You already answered your question. You want a concealed carry pistol that will work for HD. Glock 19 or M&P 2.0 Compact either of which will serve you well. Smith is a bit cheaper however Glock mags and accessories are more abundant and typically lower priced.
