I been promised the first TWO Ruger Carbines expected end on Jan.
I like this new rifle but I doubt I’ll buy one. The best thing about it is that it’ll help drive down the cost of Glock compatible AR’s. Up to this point I’ve held off on a pcc but if costs come down I’d likely buy one. I don’t see much of an advantage to the Ruger over an AR design.
Dude, if proprietary parts aren't an advantage, what is? :p
Being a bit more serious, the glock magazine thing is kind of important. Ruger magazines are expensive. Lots of other companies have figured out how to make reliable high quality magazines for 10-15$ less.

Since Glock is never going to release a 9mm carbine, Ruger did it for them.
:)
Could never understand why Ruger doesn't bring back the Camp 9. There is a demand. I went to an auction last week that had one listed but dropped out when the bidding passed $600. It ended up going for $775... crazy money
Edit - Yep... Marlin made the Camp 9. My error
