I'm assuming most of this question needs to be answered by Gunlawyer.
I'm thinking that that is what SCOTUS is for. Got money?
Re: Pittsburgh Wants to Sue to End State Preemption of Firearms Laws
Dipstick doesn't realize the precedent that if Preemption is killed for guns.. it can be killed for anything.
Does he have a chance ? extremely minute.. but as these a-holes keep popping their heads up like prairie dogs, they keep nibbling away..
Conservatives MUST get off our butts and vote to stop the erosion of rights
Re: Pittsburgh Wants to Sue to End State Preemption of Firearms Laws
The City of Pittsburgh is a political creation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Under their articles of incorporation, and state law, they are only permitted to do what state law allows them to do. However, under a Home Rule charter, they can do anything they want except what state law prohibits them from doing. In this instance, state law prohibits them from regulating firearms in any manner whatsoever.

The fact that they ignore the law and make their own restrictions is why Bass Pro will not ship ammo to Pgh or Philly.
You can SAY that they aren't allowed to make new restrictive gun laws, but they will do it anyway.

I don't see anything about PA restrictions on their ammo pages. Not that I'd buy at their prices anyways.

I started a thread about it a few years ago and an article was written about it online.
Here you go. I'm famous.
Unsure if the policy has changed since then.
It only affected people in Pittsburgh and Philly, so the general shooting community didn't really care since it didn't affect them directly.

Wondering how long it would be until you have to drive on the left side of the road in the Burg, just because they want it that way.

You already have to - because of the potholes.
