If I were to get one it would be that one only in 20ga.
Re: Anyone tried the new Mossberg shotgun?
I want a 10ga semi-auto for a SBS project.

Seems to be the more popular configuration.I checked PSA's site and it appears that they are sold out of the twenties.
Re: Anyone tried the new Mossberg shotgun?
I just installed a sb tactical brace on my shockwave. I really like the way it handles. It sort of defeats the purpose of the shockwave, but it makes it a lot more usable. I may pick up a marinecoat to leave in the boat cabin.

I bought one in 20ga from grabagun.com. $299. The receiver is a bit smaller but not by much. Its pretty easy to handle. Its really fun with some mild handloads. O keep mine in the toolbox loaded with some old BB shot I had laying around.
Re: Anyone tried the new Mossberg shotgun?
Anyone of you happy Shockwave owners try this yet?
It looks like the brace and a few of the other small upgrades made here turn this range toy into a viable SD weapon.

Ithaca Mag 10, Rem SP 10 (based on the Ithaca) or a Browning Gold 10.
The Ithacas had parts breaking issues. I don't know if the Remingtons fixed that in their redesign of the Ithaca. I'm pretty sure they both only held two shells in the magazine tube.
Everyone I've heard from, prefers the Browning out of the three. The Brownings also hold four in the tube. The early ones had steel receivers. Now they are aluminum alloy and are designated as "light".
Best bet would be a BPS pump. I like forged steel but it would probably kick like a rabid mule.
