OPEN CARRY / SORT OF !

Up at the lake fishing and got to talking firearms with another fisherman,Conversation leads to Bugs and he proceeds to take a derringer out of the tackle box un-loads it safely and drops it off the fishing pier float ! All hell broke loose and he says what should I do ? I tell him the water is 6 foot deep can you swim ? A half hour later he is lucky enough because the derringer was bright and shiny. Catching his breath after many dives he says I don't know aht I would have done ! I say if you were not able to retrieve it Authorities would have to been notified God forbid some kid spotted the shiny object and wanted to retrieve it for themselves ! Leads to many members here who have in-advertantly lost all their firearms while fishinf out in Southwest Florida Gulf of mexico ! As usual all I caught was a true story with a good ending and 6 perch !
