Yawn...

Under $300, they'll sell. Should advertise as an upgrade to the LCP.
It’s a revamped SR9c.
They took the top end of the SR22 and the bottom of the SR9c and mated them to make a “new” gun.
Boring...
And for what it’s worth, the SR9c was/is a great handgun imo.
Low recoil and feels good to shoot.
But then Ruger went all goofy and has to be introducing 12 “new” guns a month.
A new gun should be new, not some old ones mashed together that are just replacing other models.
Heck, H&K made the same old boring models for years and people bought them, it’s like Ruger is in a race to make so many different guns that they hope to get gun of the year with one of them at least.
It’s not just this one, they hyped up the .44 Special revolver they came out with and then only offered it in a short barrel.
So yeah, it’s a yawn fest, this isn’t a new gun, it’s just more same old boring stuff replacing their other stuff.
Find a SR9c, nicest shooting 9mm I have ever shot next to a Beretta 92.
A girl I was dating wanted a carry gun, she decided on the SR9c and I was a little wishy washy on it until I shot it.
Great recoil and barely any muzzle flip.
Accurate and just an all around nice pistol.
Got an SR9C in a trade on this forum. Had the best trigger out of any handgun I've ever owned. I did part with it though to move up in caliber so it's gone now but a nice gun to have.
I had an SR9c in the past. It was a nice gun, but I sold it to buy something else at the time. If they removed the magazine disconnect, manual safety, and loaded chamber indicator, then I’d buy another one. I thought it had a better trigger than the ruger American pistol too.
Does this “new” Ruger have these undesirable features?
Loaded chamber indicators don’t really bother me anymore.
I’ve come to he conclusion that being able to feel a raised bump in the dark to ensure a weapon is loaded isn’t a bad thing even if it makes the weapon a little ugly in the daylight.
But yes, I’d still rather do without them.
