Re: Bottlenecks and Rodano's in Wilkes-Barre
On the other side of this conversation, I have OPEN carried in Elmer Sudds, Georgetown Deli and The Anthracite Cafe and was welcomed/didn't notice/didn't care.
I think it has more to do with how you dress, act and conduct yourself. The consumer's dollar is very important and I don't have a whole lot to spread around so I will continue to discriminate against the businesses that disriminate against me.
Re: Bottlenecks and Rodano's in Wilkes-Barre
Maybe they've grown up and running a business means more now than when they were young. Liabilities, insurance means more than your rights now. Sad that they did not reply and state their case. Your free to choose just as they did, walk on to the next shop.
Re: Bottlenecks and Rodano's in Wilkes-Barre
For about a little over a year now I decided to stay out of WB an night. There's a lot of d-bags (I'll call them Democrats for schnitz n' giggles) walking the streets and drugged/drunked out scum wandering aimlessly. My best friend lives near Wilkes U so that sucks. No BS there's gunshots every weekend...I've witnessed drug deals out in the open and some NASTY looking hookers. How many drug dealers been hit at night in WB? I dunno I think it's a record number now. Maybe Mr. Mayor should have a look at his town at night and see all the ilk and nonsense going on instead of hiding in his exclusive Barney Farms or whatever the hell. Definitely a democrat town.
Re: Bottlenecks and Rodano's in Wilkes-Barre
It was just a few weeks now that the two girls got hit in the toilet Section 8 housing project...and didn't they just find some a-hole that killed a little boy in Brooklyn there too? Sounds like someone's got some cleaning to do. Too bad the gov't gives money to small towns to take in the country's garbage.
Re: Bottlenecks and Rodano's in Wilkes-Barre
they do have a high number of gangsters coming there at night so i sort of dont blame them its a young club scence there at night
Re: Bottlenecks and Rodano's in Wilkes-Barre
I haven't been to Rodano's in a long time due to there no guns sign. My group numbers up to 12 or so people at a time and we all spend money. There loss.
Recently, I went to Bottlenecks and saw no signs. Maybe they get all of Rodano's gun carrying customers.
WB isn't that bad anymore since the Chamber cleaned up the downtown area and built the theater. The City had little to do with it. It took an independent organization to do it.
Stay within two blocks to the North, 3 blocks to the South and 1 block to the East. Out to the river on the West.
