Thoughts on John Chrin for congress

Met him yesterday a a local gun/hunting club for annual feast. Seems genuine, my buddy grilled him pretty good and he seemed to be on the right wave length.

One thin I have a question about is this line from his web page under "Issues". https://www.johnchrin.com/issues

" John Chrin is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and a lifetime member of the NRA. John understands the importance of gun rights when it comes to self-defense, hunting, and home protection. These rights were enshrined in our Constitution because they are essential to our liberty."

Didn't get to ask him about semi auto, etc. because I was unaware he was going to be there.

Any insight?
