PA Concealed Carry License
Just returned from the Erie County Sheriff’s office after applying for my concealed carry license. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks. I’ll use my non-resident New Hampshire permit to carry my Kahr CW40. Some parts of Erie have really gone down hill in the five years I’ve been gone.

You do realize it's a License to Carry Firearms, and not a Concealed Carry License? It's important that you learn the difference. Two to three weeks is about right in most cases.

Yes I do, sorry. Coming from south Carolina I’m used to the term Concealed Carry, they do not have open carry. LTCF,LTCF,LTCF.

Just so you're aware.

PLEASE NOTE: The State of New Hampshire will only recognize resident concealed handgun licenses from these states. Concealed handgun licenses issued by the State of New Hampshire to out-of-state residents are ONLY valid within the State of New Hampshire or within a state other than the licensee’s home state that reciprocally recognizes New Hampshire nonresident concealed carry licenses.
I don't see this statement backed up in law anywhere, but it's worth noting.

Sadly, you won't be able to carry in SC when you go back to visit unless you still own property there and can get a nonresident CWP.

I didn't say that statement was backed up in law, but if that's the position of the State of New Hampshire it COULD cause you an issue.
Just pointing it out to you, do what you wish.

Thank you, I'll do some more checking to be sure I'm legal to carry in PA with my non resident New Hampshire permit.
