Allegheny LTCF approval - record time?
I read and read about delays, denials, shenanigans, and run-arounds with Allegheny County's application process for the LTCF, so imagine my surprise when I received a yellow card in the mail today after submitting my application via e-mail on Wednesday!
Not only that, according to the stamp, it was approved the same day I sent the email (but they took two days to mail it)!
Maybe it was quick because I've had an FBI background check before when I did consulting/contract work for a few major airports, but I thought the issue wasn't with the background check, but the office-keeping and attitude in the sheriff's office.
Oh well, now I know what I'm doing at lunchtime on Monday!

Nice. I got mine in 24hrs.
Re: Allegheny LTCF approval - record time?
Mine was also approved the same day I submitted it. Spent 2 days in the mail too.

My wife applied on a Fridayaround 10am, got the yellow card in the mail the nest day. She is a bank manager; so she has had FBI background checks and the such, plus her references were two county cops, dont know if any of that helped speed up the process.

I really think its just based on how busy they are or their attitude possibly. Im 22, had been in PA for like a month and had two regular people as my references and got it just as fast. Of course I did talk to the guy behind the computer for a bit about random BS so maybe he hooked me up haha
