Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club members
Anyone here a member? I'd like to join but, I don't know any members and I need a sponsor. I was a member at the Ambridge Sportmens club last year but, I want a longer rifle range. I'd also like to get into the combat pistol league and IDPA. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

Curious about BVRPC myself; it's the closest range and appears to at least have 24/7 indoor range although I've noticed muzzle velocity is limited to 855 fps lead rounds? Sounds like I'd be limited to outdoors if that information is accurate.
Re: Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club members
Indoor is like a 20 yard with steel backstop. Non Magnum lead rounds only. Its a safety issue beings that you are shooting inside the clubhouse and getting winged by a fmj or jhp that bounces back off the steel just sucks. You are allowed 22lr in there. I dont shoot much lead so I dont get a ton of use out of it either. The rest of the club makes up for it though. Great place to shoot.

Thanks for the info; glad to know 22lr is permitted. I'll have to dig out my checkbook once of these days :)

$135 to join which includes your membership and initiation fee. The $85 a year after that. You get a key card which basically gives you 24hr access to the place. I just came home from there today. From 2-6pm I saw about 6 people combined on all the pistol ranges and maybe the same or less on the rifle range.

Could you elaborate a bit on the application process? From reading the app it seems like it can be mailed in; and if accepted you must attend an orientation in order to obtain keys? If so what's the scheduling on that like?
(PMSC has similar procedures; you've got to track down someone either at a meeting or when they visit the range in order to obtain a gate key...which I discovered can be a bit difficult with my abnormal work schedule)

I'll tell you what I did. Mailed in my app with the check. New members are voted in the regular club meeting 2nd Monday of the month which you can attend or not. Then they will call you for orientaion during the week which is usually on a Sunday morning to get your key and membership card and go over the rules. That lasts for about an hr to hr and a half. Then your gtg.
