Building a AR15 lower without tools?

I used the above video for my builds as well.

The hardest part is just sorting out all the parts and identifying them before you get started.
Just find a parts list with pictures and start laying them out so you know what's what.

I've used the video above twice.. and found it very easy
Hardest part can be the detent pins.. watch a few different build videos to get an idea

Samual, I just received your pm, and replied.

as long as you got the armor's wrench, the thing that looks like a multi tool. and you're careful. i build mine up with a small hammer, allen keys and that wrenchy thing. used to working this way so it wasn't any extra hassle. mind your trigger springs. those were easy to mess up the positioning of.

having already assembled ar's might have made my mileage a little smoother.
i did use an automatic center punch to lock the castle nut.

Mindset, skill set, tool set - in that order.

If you know you can put it together, have decent dextrous skills, then tools don't matter. I normally use a set of cheap dental picks to put lowers together, because sometimes one hand has to pull as another pushes.

This thread makes me want to build another one. (without tools)
