Practice LEO Pistol Qualification in SW PA for non-LEO's
Next one is July 12th:
Ever wonder if you could pass an LEO Pistol Qualification? I have to do my yearly LEO Pistol Qualification this Friday and my buddy asked if he could practice with me, then his wife, etc. So, figured why not invite the public out to the range to run the qualification with me. This is NOT a sanctioned LEO Qualification, it will simply answer the question, "Would you pass an LEO Pistol Qualification?" If you score 70 points, then you probably would. If you score 100+ points, you definitely would. A perfect score is 120.
The $20 covers the targets and the two range safety officers that will be running the course. Free for Lifetime members of our range.
Details: We will run a modified the entire PA Constable LEO Pistol Qualification Course. 20 slots are available at $20 per slot or free for Life Members of our range. Shooters are required to bring 100 rounds of ammo, pistol, 2 magazines, safety glasses, ear protection, hat, and holster.
This is a modified qualification. A few stages were tweaked to improve safety.
Any questions, call or text us at 724-249-5112. Spectators are welcomed at no cost.

Re: Practice LEO Pistol Qualification in SW PA for non-LEO's
I was going to PMSC for some practice tonight since I'm also qualifying on Friday, but this sounds much better! Put me down for tonight, please. If you don't mind a LEO shooting in a "non-LEO" event. :)
I see you omitted the dummy rounds. Was that for safety or for lack of dummy rounds? If it's the latter, I have a bag of 9mm dummy rounds I could bring.

Retired LEO here, I would like to come down and shoot this for practice if its ok.

See you at 5:45 tonight. More of a safety issue.
You have slot 4. 6 left.

Can I use the Thompson?

Have fun. Great idea. I'll probably still be working when you get started.

I would liked to have run this.
Unfortunately, both days have "to do" shit I need to take care of at that time.
Ok.
I get off early on Thursday, called Tredd and have a slot

We had beautiful weather tonight. Just beat the rain. A big thanks to the volunteers tonight.
Every shooter would have qualified with 1 shooter scoring a perfect score and 3 shooters qualifying expert.
