I saw 3 eagles just south of Wattsburg last week. I've seen them in that area before.

The vast majority of posters here brag about/encourage shooting someone's cat that steps foot on their property, yet a guy shoots a bird and everyone is after him with torches and pitchforks!
I guess if you are a cat lover you are cheering for the farmer and if you are a eagle lover you wan't the farmer dead. I know for a fact they do hang around barns and anywhere they figure out there is easy prey. I personally witnessed one snatching up a cat years ago. Now that there are more of them in the wild I bet it happens quite often. And it is not just the bald eagles either.
It's not just a bird. It's a symbol of our country.
When we moved to Bucks county over 40 years ago, we were thrilled to see Canadian geese winging in and out seasonally.
Now I and most of my neighbors wish there was a bounty on those feathered shit bags.
