Re: F.I. Industries of Washington DC
Many years ago, a friend had one. He said:
If the serial number begins with "cpa" that was a designation for
"Colt Pony Automatic".
That was before Colt began modern production of .380s with their name.
(mustang, mustang II, government .380 and etc)
They were produced for FI industries with the Garcia name.
Later .380 government models should be very similar, if not the same,
and may use the same magazine, the 7 shell version.
What I was told may be true, or you may have to put on your hi-tops.

Re: F.I. Industries of Washington DC
I need a magazine as well. I'm not sure if I am doing this right, I have never posted. My dad gave me a fi 380 just before he died but he could not find the clip. Could you call me with more info please?

Also, I would seriously consider editing out your phone number. Bad idea.
Re: F.I. Industries of Washington DC
blue book of gun values ]
firearms international (f.i.)
previous importer and assembler located in wshington dc
f.i. manufactured and imported vrious pistol, rifles, and shotguns, including aya, astra (mostly star d models), bronco . . . fn supreme mauser bolt action rifles, iver johnson pony handguns, rossi .22 cal. rifles, sako rifles, star pistols, and unique pistols and rifles.
f.i. sold less than 100 pony .380 acps which were marked colt before the must was introduced - these are rare. while some models are relatively rare, collectablility to dat has been minimal and most models sell in the $150 - $295 range, depending on overall desirability and condition.
please look under individual manufacturer listings for values on similar models.

howd you get mapquest to show a street that no longer exists?
that address is strange in that dc addresses always specify nw ne sw or se. t
