Guys, I'm moving from Northampton county to Lehigh county and would like to change my address on my LTCF. What/Who do I need to contact for this? Is it just the same as getting the LTCF, do I need to pay the same fee again?

There is no need for an address change legally, nor is there a procedure to change the address on your existing license. Just call up the sheriff who issued your present license to let him know you moved and give him the new address so that he can mail you your renewal notice. You would then renew at the sheriff of your new county when the time comes.
I updated my address with Centre County SO over the phone and then paid $16 for an updated permit that came in the mail quickly. I was advised that you must update your address to be current with the State Police.
I up dated mine over the phone with my move. Only they said I don't need to get a new LTCF because the police will know and the old one is still good.
Yeah, there's nothing in the statutes about changing your address for a LTCF when you move within PA, although it is a good idea to inform the issuing sheriff so that he can contact you if need be.
Once issued, the LTCF is valid until it expires or is revoked.
It seems different sheriffs have their own ideas about how they handle this, though :(
I moved within county a few years back. Deputy told me it might be easier (were I ever in a situation to provide LTCF to a cop) to carry the change-of-address thingy that PennDOT sends you when you change your DL address but that it was not mandatory (as above, if the state cops know, that's really the crux).
