i have hunted bucks county and surrounding counties...but new to berks
any info would be great

Also, I don't think that counties make the rules regarding hunting, I believe that is the state game commission and would apply to the entire state.
It is not so much that counties make the regs as the Game Commission has established many SE PA counties where population density is such that rifles are not allowed to be used. 5C and 5D i know to not allow rifles to be usedQuote:

Berks County is a great place to hunt and you can hunt with a rifle. A few years back, Oley Twp considered making the Twp shotgun only (after a bullet struck a house in the village) but learned that they dont have the power to make that decision. Its a PGC matter. Have a safe season.

and I thought semi-auto ANYTHING wasn't allowed. I'd love to be able to hunt with a shotgun, because I already have one which I could re-purpose for slugs and cut down on overall equipment cost.
