Carry the G2C mostly.
Reasons why I carry the G2C and lcp is for the size. Occasionally I will spice it up with the Taurus 605.
And very rarely I OC a full size
I almost went with a G2C. Haven't read anything bad about them.

I'm a weirdo, my go to this time of year is a Star firestar in 9mm. It's all steel so it's heavy by todays standards, but it soaks up recoil in a small gun. I can shoot it very well and wouldn't have a problem hitting something torso sized out to 50yds in a pinch. If I need light weight, I carry a LCR in 357. Probably my favorite for pocket carry, but at 50 it would take some serious concentration to get consistent hits.
Winter time or open carry, I'm going full size 9 or 45 of some flavor or another.

Firestars are also the only pistols that ProMags work reliably in, and actually fit better than the factory ones.

Lol
Kinda true, I have a couple pro-mags and they seem to work fairly well. They don't always lock back on the last round though. I have to factory 7 rounders and one factory extended 8 rounder for it that I've accumulated over the years. My only problem is going to be if something ever breaks on it, parts are becoming unobtainium for them.

Mine came with two extended Promags and a factory flush mag. The factory ones have about 1/8" of play. I only use the PMs for range use. I got a few factory ones from CDNN 20+ years ago when then bought out Interarms' remaining stock.
Sarco used to have a lot of parts for them. I also came across a guy on Gunbroker in Spain that had some stuff. Just don't dry fire it often. :)

I carry an H&K USP9 Compact OWB and am happy with it. It prints but at this point, I don't care. I have not tried a slew of models to see what works best for me, I just bought it and like it better than the other options that I own. I can easily hit a human sized target at 50yds and hit a balloon at 50 at a balloon shoot a few weeks ago. I am not a marksman. But in the winter, when I have layers on, I do like to carry my H&K P7 because it is my favorite gun.
Ballon shoots! Where are there ballon shoots?
Re: Reconsidering carry gun: why do you carry what you do?
Glock 30SF (for the most part)
Ruger Alaskan 44 mag (in the woods)

I don’t like going below 9mm. And if I venture into NJ, my mags are OK.
OK.....now you're just showing off. :)
Glock 43X
Carried my PF9 for 11 years. It's a damn fine carry piece!
Ran across a Glock 43X and switched over. As was said, with the Sheild Arms mags, I went from 10+1 to 15+1. So, I went from carrying 15 rounds between two mags to carrying 31 rounds, in a not significantly larger gun.

I can barely see 40 yards. I've got no business shooting at something that far away, without a scope or something.
