If there was in fact an immediate safety concern, he could have petitioned as a citizen and not abused his authority as a police officer as this appears to be a personal issue and not a law enforcement issue.

WFMZ posted a link to the video of her being detained. I guess his 'civilian acquaintance' was recording. How convenient that it does not include the initial circumstances leading up him restraining her and only begins with him already sitting on top of her. Total scumbag.

When that someone is standing over the railing in the center of the Walt Whitman Bridge after getting out of their car, which was left in the middle of the bridge and they are saying they want to jump and end it all, the officer they are talking to, absolutely can up and claim they are suicidal and have them committed.
