"Grappling with America's Guns" - November 9, 2022 6pm
Oh look - a community conversation!
Quote:
So, what’s the middle ground in the debate on gun control? Is the term itself problematic? How do you better protect the public without burdening law-abiding gun owners? And is the Second Amendment being misapplied?
Join WHYY and the Chestnut Hill branch of The Free Library of Philadelphia for a Community Conversation where we’ll examine all sides of this argument and explore the tensions between advancing public safety and ensuring constitutional freedoms.

I drove through Chestnut Hill the day they announced that Biden "won" the election and it seemed the entire town was out in the streets celebrating. I'm sure this will be an unbiased conversation.

The middle ground is a lot like the middle ground for abortion.
If you're against them, then don't get one.

I'm guessing this is one of those things where the panel of "experts" take questions from the audience. Probably pre-screened questions. Does not really go into detail on the exact format at the link.
If I went down to Filthy and said where I thought a lot/most of the problem lies, I'd probably end up as a chalk outline before I got back to my car.

This is being held in Lilly-White Chestnut Hill, about the most upscale zip code within the county limits. You'd be 99% fine.
That said, Russell Byers was stabbed to death (protecting his wife) at a WAWA (no longer there) about four blocks away - 20 + years ago.

So, again I ask - where are all PAFOA's tough talkers?????
