Re: 2013 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
Wow, that's a lot. Approx. 25% of the population is under 21, and the 2013 census shows 12,773,801 residents, which means 10% of the adult population has an LTCF. It's gone up a couple of percentage points in the last few years.
Re: 2013 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
You will see less and less from Centre County now that nonresidents have to renew in person. I expect the LTC to go down year by year. A loss of revenue to Centre County. That is ashame.
Re: 2013 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
And, as always, the most populous county, Philadelphia, is dead last.

Man, don't flame me but you can tell where the Fudds are and where the liberals are. Just saying. ;-)
Re: 2013 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
I'm a little confused. If the .............Total Statewide LTCFs: 990,707 why do I get a different number if I add the total number of permits issued from 2008 to 2013? I get 1,114,550 permits issued over a 5 year period. What is with the different numbers?
Edit: Nevermind I guess that would be 6 years. :D
Re: 2013 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
These numbers are very encouraging, I just hope that we are able to preserve our second amendment freedoms in this state, and that these LTCF holders vote wisely.
Re: 2013 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
We moved from NYC to Bushkill three months ago. While I still work in NY (still looking for work in PA), living in Pennsylvania, life is tremendously improved. My wife is from Camp Hill so she, in a sense has returned home. I applied for a LTCF in Pikes County. Went to Sheriff's office. They said they would notify me in two weeks. We shall see how it goes.

And in New York City, after shelling out an outrageous amount or two, plus getting fingerprinted, filling out an insanely large application form or two - they'd show you the door, telling you not to darken it again.
Re: 2013 LTCFs by County and Firearm Transfer Metrics
Yes the renewal fee was going to be $345.00, and more forms than I cared to fill out. I have no use for NY in general, over the past 20 years the political environment and way of living if you can call it that has degraded exponentially.
