I am definitely going to try to make this one

I'll be wearing dress slacks, shirt, tie and blazer.
I would suggest "business casual" at a minimum. |

I'm also going with business casual.
No smiley faces with a bullet hole, people..

No sweat dan. I knew you have other commitments a couple of nights a week. Didn't mean to nag, just wanted to confirm it was being considered.

The suggestions already offered are good ones. I'll be wearing khaki's, button-down shirt, and tie. I'm not wearing a sport jacket because I intend to display my empty holster as a part of my message.
I have mixed feelings about the whole "dress up to impress" concept. When I was there last fall, I wore new jeans, and a very nice flannel shirt. I wanted to project a 'normal guy' image, but not a 'dumb hick' image. Dirty bibs won't cut it, but I don't think a designer suit is needed in order to validate our message. I would be more impressed with a clean casual outfit than a suit that looks like it was slept in overnight. I've personally come to the realization that given my own experiences and strong beliefs on these issues, my own participation in such activities will be ongoing. Like it or not, I am now recognizable and known to many. As such, I feel the need to 'take it up a notch', more than I would if I were just another voice, with no particular story to tell. I hope this doesn't come across as conceited or self-serving. It is just a small glimpse into my thought process. Above all, wear comfortable shoes! You'll be on your feet most of the day.

Hmmm, I might be able to attend this one. Until a few minutes ago, I thought my class schedule precluded this, but now... very interesting... I'll have to see if I can get myself from CMU to the Allegheny County Sportsmen's League buses (I don't think the 67A runs at that ungodly hour in the morning) and back...
