I plan on coming, along with my wife and prob son.

Still working on the plans, think we may stay somewhere night before and go from hotel to rally. Dont want to have to leave at 3 or 4 am to get there all wacked out from drive. Anyone else staying nearby? I have no experiance with Harrisburgh.

And also, will an email about this go out to all our members like the last one? Preferably soon so people have a chance to plan on going.

Non weight-bearing prevents me from using crutches.

I'm also going to officially attempt to indirectly bribe everyone into coming. I can't provide hundreds of hats, t-shirts and meal vouchers like the anti's do to bring people in, but...

I will donate $2 to PAFOA for every member that comes to the rally on April 7.

If we can get 20 people to come to a hearing, getting at least 50 PAFOA members to show up for an event this important should be easy. Come on guys (and gals)....make me PAY!

Hoping to be there...Its always you political guys who are doing the bribery...

What specific hurdles does this create for you for the day? Is it actually getting to the Capitol, or just the location itself? The Capitol is handicapped accessible by using the Commonwealth Ave. entrance (the same one used if you need to check a firearm).

Yeah I will be working on that and an email alert tonight.

Unfortunately part of the deal of dragging my girlfriend to Pittsburgh with me was that I had to help her work on her resume last night and didn't get a chance to do PAFOA stuff.

This was brought up at my gun club meeting last night, and their talking about getting a bus to make the trip. Since it's a small gun club 133 members Its a small group but every one counts

Talking about the problem is important, doing something about the problem, makes the all difference in solving them.

I would like to see a really large PAFOA attendance for this important event.

I would like to have an idea how many people are going and from where so people if possible can car pool together. Also so I need to contact to send some talking points to if they would be helpful to anyone that is going. Most of the same information will be post on the ACSL web site for anyone to view.

Update from Kim Stolfer 3-13-08 someone is going to win a handgun that attends rally, nothing to buy just register when you get there before event starts.

There is another added bonus to attending the rally in Harrisburg on April 7th in that everyone who comes and registers gets a ticket that gives them a chance to win a handgun (either a Glock 17, 19, or 23 or possibly a Smith & Wesson M&P). This firearm donation comes courtesy of my good friend George Romanoff the owner of Ace Sporting Goods in Canonsburg PA. I would venture to say that the odds of winning this gun are far better than the lottery tickets sold by PA.
