Sorry, but since this was my investigation and I initiated the prosecution, I don't really want a bench warrant directed my way! ;0 (even though being with you guys would be much more fun than sitting in court all day). ![]() The bribe is safe with me.....but I feel bad for not being able to go, so I'll send you the $2.00 anyway.

Hey Greg Thanks!!!
I have a few questions that I hope can be answered... Obviously there are no firearms permitted inside of the capitol. But are there going to be storage cabinets enough for everyone? I know this question was asked but I never really got any closure on it. Are empty holsters permisable? Or would that stir the pot negitively? Is there a dress code? Is everyone expected to wear a suit and tie? Aside from a note pad and writing impliment is there anything else I should consider taking? And lastly but most importantly lunch? Are we just going to be sent to the town to invade the resteraunts? Should I pack something? Again I am very excited I couldn't get off for Greg's trial and I sorely regrete that. But I am looking forward to meeting the faces of the many here.

2. I intend to wear my empty holster. The last time I was asked if I wanted to check it too, and I chose to, but since their procedure was to clear my weapon before checking it, there's no reason not to just keep it with me. Some facilities allow you to check the firearm loaded and in the holster. In that case, it would make sense to leave it behind or bring a second holster it you wanted to wear an empty one. 3. See my post #47. Dressing 'business casual' is encouraged, but not required. I'll be wearing khakis, button-down shirt and tie, but no jacket. 4. Not that I can think of 5. Last time I was there, we ate from the Capitol cafeteria. By staying 'in house' we were able to talk with some legislators even during lunch. Since they'll be in session after lunch, every minute counts! Also, at the end of the day, Pa. Patriot and myself are going to a nearby 'Sandwich Man' to grab a bite before heading for home. We should probably make an 'official' thread about this soon so everyone knows.

I would very much like to bring my sidearm. I always feel naked without it and the thought of doing anything afterwards encourages such thought.
I have never been inside the capitol and so I don't know were to park, if its in a multi story parking garage or on the street. And regardless of that with as much publicity as this will generate do you think our vehicles will be targeted by those looking for an easy grab?
